Sinead Polland, Director of Lucas Love Healthcare said this was a keynote event for nursing and touches all parts of healthcare.

“The Royal College of Nursing Congress is one of the most prestigious events in the nursing calendar.  The RCN works tirelessly to support its members and assist them in driving innovation and increasing quality across the Healthcare arena “Sinead said.

“We are delighted to have a stand B14 at Congress and to be a featured exhibitor. We look forward to meeting and speaking to the enormously professional and caring nurses from across the UK and sharing with them the many opportunities we have as an agency being used across the NHS in Northern Ireland . This is an amazing chance to support each other as professionals, network and share ideas and show off what an amazing city Belfast is!” said Sinéad.

The congress opens on Saturday with the annual Nurses’ Day service of thanksgiving at St Malachy’s Church, before the opening and awards ceremony at the Waterfront.

It closes on Wednesday afternoon with the AGM, after a packed agenda including workshops on TB, transfusions, equality, and student sessions.

Amongst the speakers will be from Janet Davies, RCN Chief Executive and General Secretary, who will deliver a keynote address.
